🚨NEW CROSS-COUNTRY PROGRAM
For students in Grades 6 to 12

🟢 Competing in a school or provincial championship after October 11? No problem! You can keep training with the Roadrunners until your race day.
📍 TRAINING LOCATION
Confederation Park (Le Chenail) Hawkesbury (K6A 0B6)
Outdoor training on natural terrain.
📌 The location may occasionally vary depending on the type of training planned. Participants will be informed of any changes in advance.
📅 TRAINING SCHEDULE
🕕 Wednesdays from 6:00 PM to 7:15 PM
🕙 Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM
⏱️ Duration: 7 weeks (from August 27 to October 10)
📌 Schedule and days may be adjusted due to weather or logistics. All changes will be communicated ahead of time.

🟨 BASIC REQUIREMENT (by school grade)
To fully benefit from the training sessions, each participant should be able to run a certain distance without stopping, at a comfortable pace (no need to be fast!).
In Grade 6, we recommend being able to run 1 km (about 6 to 8 minutes of easy jogging).
In Grade 7, aim for 1.5 km (approximately 9 to 12 minutes).
In Grade 8, be able to run 2 km (12 to 15 minutes).
In Grade 9 or 10, aim for 2.5 to 3 km (15 to 20 minutes).
In Grade 11 or 12, being comfortable running 3 to 5 km (18 to 30 minutes) is ideal.
🎯 The goal is for everyone to progress at their own pace, with training groups tailored by age and experience.
No stopwatch required! Just the ability to run continuously at a comfortable pace. We’ll take care of the rest 🙂
