NCCP Context: Competition-Development
Performance Coach is an event specific course ideal for coaches with U20 athletes or older, specializing in one event group, training all-year round, and competing in national competitions.
Coaches can sign up for one event group: sprints, endurance, throws, jumps, or combined events.

Event-Specific Technical
Event-Specific Strength
Annual Planning
Micro-cycle Planning
Final Phase Planning
Coach Performance and Self-Care
Prerequisites:
1. Coaches must be Club Coach Certified and be coaching an athlete at U20 or higher who is competing at a National Championship. Exceptions may apply.
2. Four weeks prior to the start of the course, coaches must submit to the Learning Facilitator a copy of their Yearly Training Plan (YTP).
3. Coaches will also need to complete 4 online eLearning courses (approximately 7 hours total time). These can be completed at any time prior to the course start date.

Our Learning Facilitators will be:

The course will begin at 10:00am on Friday April 3rd and conclude at 1:00pm on Monday April 6th. And, the event hotel will be the Holiday Inn on Mayor Magrath Drive where the Athletics Alberta rate is $139 + taxes.
